CASE STUDY

JUBILEE METALS

Croydon Gold Project

Jubilee Metals engaged our team to relocate an existing gold processing plant to a new site at Croydon, Queensland, integrating new infrastructure with equipment and structures already in place. The project spanned both civil and structural disciplines, from site earthworks through to the design of critical process infrastructure.

THE CHALLENGE

Relocating an operating gold plant means the new site has to accommodate a mix of new and existing equipment, all while meeting the civil and structural requirements of a working processing facility. Building pads, roads, drainage and go line all needed to be designed around the plant’s specific layout, alongside structural work for tanks, platforms and site accommodation.

OUR APPROACH

Our civil team designed the site’s building pads, roads, drainage and go line to suit the relocated plant layout, while our structural team worked on the CIL tank concrete and platforms, camp accommodation and ancillary structures. Civil and structural design ran side by side, so decisions in one discipline could be checked against the other before they were locked in.

THE SOLUTION

The result was a fully integrated site design that brought new and existing infrastructure together under one coordinated plan, giving Jubilee Metals a relocated plant built to support safe, reliable operation from day one.

Key Outcomes
